We live in a society that tells us to be like everyone, do everyone and live like everyone; that’s an average vegetable society we are conditioned to associate with. For example school-society is for average people simply because we are taught to fit in, do what everyone else is doing and not taught to do what we want for ourselves.
We live in the age that has come to accept average as a standard of living and then we watch in amazement and surprise when someone we know moves out from our average vegetable crowd to receive all the rewards that are his or her due for excellence.
Many people are comfortable with being average, comfortable doing what everyone else is doing, which is all average lifestyle. And this notion of now are days that live below your means, save for a rain day, buy cheap clothes, cheap cars, date cheap women or men, cheap vacations, cheap beers, that’s a poor persons vegetable mentality.
Choosing to live average is not to appreciate the purpose, the beauty and abundance of life when life is abundance and extraordinary. The problem is also school and religion that programs individuals to be average, follow what everyone else is doing in that religion and never question why we do what we do; and then school comes along to teach us to fit in and live poor, live below our means.
We are all born rich, but school teaches us to be poor, to become average vegetables in our societies so that it’s easy for the government to control you and me. Average people are trained in school and religion, so that it’s easy to control and manipulate them.
“We are all born rich; but school and religion teaches us to live poor”
– Maradona Chalwe
Society today needs people who are willing to let go of old obsolete average ideas that school and religion has been programming people, people who are willing and desire to live above their means, people who desire to live extraordinary lifestyles of appreciating life’s beauty, abundance, purpose, of always thinking great and big thoughts, of living above your means and of finding a way to serve that extraordinary abundance life to as many people as they can reach in this world.
Its only extraordinary people who understands that when you give others a good life, you will receive a good life in return; these are the people society is yearning more for.
Extraordinary people think big because they understand that you cannot have an advanced standard of living without first having an advanced standard of thinking; and these are people society is yearning more for today.
To live an average vegetable or an extraordinary lifestyle is a choice. To be poor or to be rich is a choice. It’s all your choice, but I advice you going for an extraordinary life is a worth life. There is no pleasure in living average, no pleasure in being poor. If you have chosen to go for extraordinary life; St. Jerome advises you, “Begin to be now what you will be hereafter”. It’s your choice.
“What you settle for stays with you. Why settle for average when you can be phenomenal? Why live in a chicken coop when you can fly like an eagle? You are the gate keeper of your destiny. Shut the door to ordinary and open your life to extraordinary.”
