The sum total of the activities you do in your day is the sum total of how you spend your time. The sum total of life you are living now is the sum total of time of your thoughts you entertained in the past. Successful people are highly productive because they know how to work with time; what activities to invest time and their thoughts in. Time is our great asset and once wasted it’s never recovered. With time, there are no discounts or pressing charges against it as Terri Guillemots said, “Time is the only thief we can’t get justice against.” Moreover, both the poor and successful have all the same time; 24hours in a day. But how it is used, is up to oneself.
You cannot waste time of the future, because you are not there yet. You can only waste the present passing time. If you wasted your past time, it’s gone forever just like that, cannot be brought back to present as Arnold Bennett said in his book ‘How to live 24hours a day’, “You can only waste the passing moments, you cannot waste tomorrow it is kept for you. You cannot waste the next hour it is kept for you.” You cannot waste time in advance.
Time is your precious gift and asset, but you have to use that gift wisely. However, you cannot control the speed of time; you can only control your actions and what you accomplish within time. The best way to live life, is to work with time, and move with time. Seneca said, “Time heals what reason cannot.” Therefore, time properly used heals your life with an abundance life. What you spend your lifetime on most is what will make your life successful or unsuccessful. Time is fair to all; it’s how you use and move with it that determines you to achieve a successful or a loser’s lifestyle.
“The moment you begin to think of time as precious and that it has a price, the richer you will become” – Robert Kiyosaki, Author: Rich Dad Poor Dad
