Knowledge is busy changing and getting advanced, so must be you, in order to survive – adapt or become extinct. The miserable person is the unadaptive person. Survive-ability depends on adaptability and adaptability is the beginning of living. People don’t resist change, people resist being changed, and the unadaptive person is a miserable one. “It’s the most unhappy people who most fear change”, said Mignon McLaughlin.

It’s the comfort of old knowledge that makes people resist change. Most People have become obsolete in the new world simply because they are comfortable with knowledge of the old world. You cannot enter in the new world with an old world mentality. Its comfort that make people remain the same, do the same things over and over and follow the same things everyone else is doing in life, for example industrial age job dependence mentality.

“Humans cannot find freedom until they let go old obsolete ideas” – Robert Kiyosaki

It’s by seeking new knowledge that we become in line with our new world of today.  It’s by seeking new knowledge that we become adapted to changes of our world. It’s in seeking new knowledge that we become curious about our lives and our surroundings of today and future.

Remember that humans cannot progress forward by holding on to old obsolete ideas. The reason why most people are not progressing in this new age, the information, technological age, is that they are still holding on to old industrial age beliefs and rules when we are now in the new information age; for example “Go to school, get a high paying job with benefits, save for retirement, buy a house, and a job will take care of you and your family”, this is an old belief and rule of living in today’s world, the rules have changed. You cannot move forward if you are still holding on to the old beliefs and rules.

Learning something empowering every day that is new helps you adapt to new changes that are happening. It’s in learning something new every day that we become open minded to new changes on ourselves, everyone and everything around us. Remember what Alvin Toffler said that “Illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn”. Remember that technology robotic machines are new knowledge, and machines are rapidly busy replacing human labor jobs; better learn to adapt the future will never be as was and as is today.

The old knowledge is gone, we are in the new world, learn to adapt to what is happening and has come now, and you will be ready to welcome what will be coming ahead of you.
