Choice Is A Double-Edged Sword – Why Most People Choose Poverty

by Maradona Chalwe

The danger and the advantage of choice. Choice is a double-edged sword. People become who they are and what they experience because they make a choice to choose to become who they are and what they experience.

When we’re free to choose, we’re free to make decisions that are good but also decisions that are bad. Often, what separate the successful from the unsuccessful are the choices that we make.

Financial Choice

Our spending habits reflect who we are and what we value. And with every money we earn or make, we have the power to choose our future: to be rich, poor, or middle class. Poor people have poor spending habits. Rich people have rich spending habits. Every time we are spending money we are choosing. We are choosing what is important to us. We are choosing our future.

If you want to be successful, it’s important that you understand the power of choice and know how to make success choices.

Remember, you have to make the choice to be successful EVERY day, and you have to be making that same choice for yourself and by yourself Every day. Most people leave their life choices to others or circumstances each day that comes, they blame circumstances outside themselves for not becoming successful, they blame the “government and the economy, others say my spouse handles all the finances, while most young people say, why must I worry am still young, others say am not interested in money I have well paying job, and on and on excuses keep on going!! And this is what ends up their future, the danger of choice.

If you want to be successful, you must stop giving excuses and start having a new mindset. You must work and throw away excuses. You must start doing what the successful be and do, and this all falls on making that success choice. No one can and will make that choice for you, but only you alone must.
