No individual just walkup and boom became a successful business person without any foundation or cause; they first had to vision, plan, prepare, research for a certain period of time, months or even for years, and had to walk that process before that business idea became a success on the market ground. Remember that even a small business requires percentage of ability to delay gratification to be well established on the market ground.
Point: A successful business person is not built in short-term. Is built in long-term, while preparing every moment.
Remember that success is everyday and long-term business success is built everyday through ability to delaying instant gratifications. Investing money back into your business is the ability to delay instant gratification; most people eat even the profit of their own business. Warren Buffett put it this way, “No matter how great the talent or efforts, some things just take time. You can’t produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant”, so is establishing a successful business.
Running a business is not easy, that’s why a few run businesses and many look for jobs. Sacrifice for today, in order to enjoy more after 5 years is easier said than done for the many people, and only one who has experienced such will agree to this.
Many people don’t become entrepreneurs or quit business along the journey simply because they lack the long-term perseverance and lack the long-term focus of their business dreams and ideas. It is very difficult to delay short-term immediate gratification in favor of a greater long-term business reward; that’s why most people choose to become employees, because becoming an employee is short-term, and off college you get the job.
Most people never become entrepreneurs, simply because they fear to fail, fear to lose money, fear to be different and lack the ability to delay the short employee gratification in order to enjoy the long-tem business success rewards.
We must also understand that, it’s not lack of money that stops an individual from starting a business, its oneself, “In fact most people earn enough money to build big businesses, but they never do; this is a pure evidence that you don’t need money first to start a business or become an entrepreneur, all you need is to believe in yourself first”.
